New barrack opens at Chanchalguda jail

Hyderabad: To enhance infrastructure at Chanchalguda Central Prison, prison authorities on Monday inaugurated a new barrack. "This new facility will house an additional 84 prisoners," said Soumya Mishra, director general (prisons). Mishra inspected the prison hospital and reviewed medical facilities. Officials said she assessed the findings of a health camp held for inmates, where several conditions were identified. tnn
